Accessibility Statement

1. Our Commitment

Traceflair GmbH is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards across our website and analytics dashboard.

We conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

2. Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following accessibility features across our website and dashboard:

Navigation and Structure

• Skip-to-content links on every page to bypass navigation
• Semantic HTML elements (header, nav, main, footer, section) for proper document structure
• Descriptive ARIA labels on navigation regions, charts, and data tables
• aria-current="page" to indicate the active page in navigation
• Logical heading hierarchy (h1 through h6) on all pages
• Data tables include scope attributes and screen-reader-only captions for context

Visual Design

• Color contrast ratios meet or exceed WCAG 2.2 AA requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
• Focus-visible styles on all interactive elements for keyboard navigation
• Support for prefers-reduced-motion to disable animations for users who prefer reduced motion
• Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
• Information is not conveyed by color alone
• Support for Windows High Contrast Mode (forced-colors) with visible component borders

Interaction

• All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard (Tab, Enter, Escape, Arrow keys)
• Form inputs have associated labels, required field indicators, and error messages linked via ARIA
• Buttons and links have descriptive text or aria-labels
• Modal dialogs and menus trap focus and can be closed with Escape
• Language selector supports full keyboard navigation with Arrow keys, Enter, and Escape
• FAQ accordions use proper aria-expanded and aria-controls attributes
• Touch targets meet the minimum 44x44px size requirement

Content

• All images have descriptive alt text
• SVG icons include appropriate aria-hidden or role attributes
• Language is declared on the HTML element and all content is fully available in English and German
• Links are distinguishable from surrounding text and have meaningful link text

3. Known Limitations

While the traceflair.com website conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA, the Traceflair dashboard has the following known limitations:

• Session replay visualizations in the dashboard use canvas rendering which may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide textual event logs as an alternative.
• Heatmap overlays are primarily visual representations. We are working on tabular data alternatives for heatmap data.
• Some third-party embedded content (e.g., payment forms from Stripe/PayPal) may have their own accessibility limitations outside our control.

We are actively working to address these limitations and improve accessibility across all features.

4. Conformance Status

The traceflair.com website conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The Traceflair analytics dashboard partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA due to the known limitations described above (canvas-based replay, visual heatmaps, third-party payment forms).

We conduct regular accessibility audits using both automated tools (axe, Lighthouse) and manual testing with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) and keyboard-only navigation.
