- Opt-in (default): No data is collected until the user explicitly grants consent.
- Opt-out: Data is collected by default. Users can revoke consent at any time.
- Implied: Data collection begins immediately (for non-EU contexts or where consent is not required).
Additionally, the data-traceflair-ignore attribute can be applied to any HTML element to exclude it from session recording and analytics.

5. Data Retention
Analytics data is retained based on your plan tier:
- Free: 7 days
- Pro: 30 days
- Business: 90 days
- Enterprise: 365 days (configurable)
Account data is retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of account closure.
6. Self-Hosting
When you self-host Traceflair, all data remains on your infrastructure. We have no access to your analytics data. This privacy policy only applies to data processed through our hosted service.

Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
